Catherine M. Corbo, 89, of Walton Beach, FL and formerly of Newburgh, died January 23 in the Parthenon Nursing Home, Walton Beach, FL.
Born in Highland Falls, on July 12, 1920, the daughter of the late Philip and Angelina Alfano Decandia. Catherine was predeceased by her husband Nicholas F. Corbo who died, January 24, 1994.
Survived by one son, Nicholas Corbo and wife, Carol of Florida; four sisters: Fortune Burkoski of Newburgh, Frances Cafora of Delray Beach, FL, Lee Fratto of Chester, and Barbara Colello of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughter, Nicole Corbo of Seattle WA; granddaughter, Jeanine Corbo of NYC; grandson Ed Burke of Cornwall; granddaughter, Wendy Doyle of Cornwall. Catherine was predeceased by two brothers, Marvin and Phil Decandia.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on January 28 at the Sacred Heart Church Newburgh. Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
