19?? census Deport Lamar Co TX farmer and ownes own farm nearby.
...Lived in Paris in section of 1st Ward School.
Owned and operated small grocer across from PandMP RR
He drove and operated the first horse drawn delivery wagon for CokeCola.
When I was small, I rode on the motorized truck for rural deliveries with him all over the county.
1910 census Paris with wife Eva and sons Les and Sel ages 9 and 8
...After Eva died, he became very depressed. I rode to Hugo OK with him in the back of his model A with a rumble seat and was witness to his 2nd marriage, name I didn't have. He was on a bad rebound when he married the nurse who took care of my grandmother at St Joseph's. It didn't work out and she left him. He was living in a duplewx he had built for his two sons families. We lived in the other side. I went in to wake him one morning when we didn't hear him up. He had turned on the gas burner and not lit it. I remember he was wearing long johns and was lying on the floor with his head near the stove.
BA Waggener was 56 when he died. Janet was 9
